WE'VE JUST LAUNCHED JAN 1, 2007
We're pleased to launch the first site that offers people a Reciprocal Blog Commenting and an Article Linking directory.
This site is a new and unique type of directory for active bloggers who are interested in exchanging comments and links with other bloggers.
HOW THIS SITE CAME TO BE - TWO REASONS
1) I was trying to figure out a non-spammy, but high quality ways to link out to sites and receive links from sites that would set off the engine alarm bells for reciprocal linking.
In doing my research I found that sites love to link to other sites that have valuable and interesting information. This is natural, organic linking, which weighs the most with the search engines as far as link value.
It would be nice to find other sites that you could exchange links with, in article format, blog format, or any other content format.
2) I write some blogs myself. I love the idea of talking about the things that I'm passionate about. I also love the idea of sharing thoughts and ideas, in comments, with other like minded bloggers.
The problem I've had is that some of the topics I blog about are sometimes obscure. It's hard to find like minded bloggers who want to share comments sometimes.
I've gone to different blogs in the same industry and invited them to reciprocate blog comments. That is perceived as spammy, by those who don't like to reciprocate blog comments.
Social Network is all the rage - does it work though?
Social networking is wildly popular right at the moment. I've gone to digg.com, del.icio.us.com and spent some time trying to develop relationships with other blog/site owners.
Many times there are the main blog writers who usually get tons of comments and links to their sites. These guys are very knowledgable in their topics and add alot of value to their communities.
It's still hard to go on to social networking sites and ask people if they want to reciprocate comments and article links. It's hit or miss. Some people do want to exchange comments and some don't. It's the same problem on each type of media.
PEOPLE HERE DON'T MIND EXCHANGING COMMENTS WITH STRANGERS
This site is all about people who want to exchange comments with other sites but are having trouble finding active comment partners who don't mind you reciprocating blog comments with them.
You may not become the best of buddies with your new comment partners, however, you'll never feel bad about just visiting their sites, placing a comment on their blog, and expecting to do the same with yours.
This site is especially valuable with exchanging comments with more obscure topic blogs. Recently I had to do some research for my life insurance blog, and had to visit funeral blogs. Funeral blogs are loved by a small percentage of the blogging population, and I wanted to exchange some thoughts and ideas with them.
It was difficult to find a blogger in the funeral industry who I knew would take the time to do some back and forth visiting with me while I was writing my article. I felt bad just going on their blogs and starting a dialogue which included asking questions about their industry.
Also I noticed that many of the funeral / life insurance blogs have 0 comments on them. Not a big exchange of ideas being traded in those industries.
RECIPROCAL BLOG COMMENT / ARTICLE LINK EXCHANGING BORN!
Motivated by my activities as stated above, I thought that there must be many other bloggers, article writers, and website owners who are having the same issue.
I did some research and found that there weren't any other sites like this which offered this type of service. The rest is history!!
I hope that you will enjoy this website, make some new blog commenting friends from it, generate tons of links back to your sites and blogs, naturally of course!!
Please do leave a comment as to if you like the service, hate the service, don't understand the service or any other concerns.
And also please do feel free to link back to this site at any time!! I hope to do the same for you and your site in the near future!.
Best wishes.
